ABOUT

For nearly two decades, Tammy Jo Dearen and her productions have created live comedy experiences that blend high-level stand-up, raw energy, strong audiences, and unforgettable rooms.

From legendary comedy venues to unconventional pop-ups, rooftop shows, outdoor productions, drive-ins, underground rooms, and curated industry showcases, the focus has always been the same:

Create shows comedians love performing on and audiences cannot stop talking about afterward.

Our productions have featured national headliners, breakout comics, surprise guests, rising talent, and some of the strongest independent lineups in Los Angeles comedy.

During the pandemic, we created and launched Magic Asphalt — the only legal drive-in style stand-up comedy show in Hollywood — alongside Asphalt Comedy, pioneering indoor/outdoor and rooftop-style live comedy experiences when live entertainment itself was being reinvented in real time.

Additional productions include:

  • BITCH!  the long-running sold out Comedy Store show launched in 2014

  • RIOT!

  • Oh My Gato!

  • Shut Up and Pass the Salt

  • The Shooting Gallery

  • The Rant

  • One Liners Pageant

  • STFU

  • Grillers

  • Demo

  • Back at the Store

  • Comedy at the Pig

  • and many more

But this company is not only about producing shows.

We also work with:

  • venues seeking experienced comedy production partners

  • organizations looking for curated live entertainment

  • agencies seeking experienced production management

  • comedians looking to sharpen their material and stage presence

  • developing comics committed to growth

  • veteran comics seeking deeper workshop and roundtable development environments

Our workshops and masterclasses focus on what actually elevates stand-up:

  • stage presence

  • joke structure

  • crowd connection

  • confidence

  • authenticity

  • developing a unique comedic voice

Whether producing a packed showcase, consulting on live entertainment strategy, building a room from scratch, mentoring comics, or curating a lineup, the goal remains the same:

Build comedy experiences that feel alive.

The shows typically run 90–120 minutes.

The audience leaves wanting more.

The comedians leave wanting to come back.
